i read my old posts and realize i did had a life.

this was from 3 days ago. but still. its a photo.

April no Fool

oh god. i am so backdated with my project 365. i think i didn’t update for more than 10 days. and some days i even didn’t even take photos. haih~~

Day 14: new chairs for us!! like and no like the chair. like because the leather of old one will always come out, very ugly le.

no like because the new chair is lower than the old one. now i am shorter by my desk. me already short, now i am even shorter. sigh sigh sigh

Day 15 : Hong Kong Central library that looks like a 5 stars hotel from the outside. Hong Kong people actually complain about it when they construction finished, they don’t like a library that is too grand and magnificent. I heard that you can cancelled the wrong button that you press in the lift, didn’t dare to play with the technology because very paiseh one lor.

Day 16: No photo.

Day 17: Meeting again. Pizza Hut’s pizza for lunch. Pizza Hut in Hong Kong serve nicer pizza than Pizza Hut in Malaysia. more fillings and thinner pizza bread.

Day 18: No photo. Didn’t even remember what special thing i did. sigh

Day 19: Same with Day 18. sigh x 2

Day 20 : I took too much photo of food. no wonder i am fat. sigh sigh sigh. dinner with professor. the sandwiched is too big for me. everyone have to wait for me to finish. $54 for 3 pieces of breads.

Day 21: a missing day. a sleepless day. a sleepy day.

Day 22 :  A Day in Wetland Park. water lily very beautiful. Later share photos with you guys le.

Day 23: First Day of the China Firm Visit. This is the university that we went - South China University of Technology(华南理工). It’s one of the best university in the area. There are two campus for this university, the one in the photo is the new campus located at University Town(大学城), the old campus is in the town of Guang Zhou. We went to the wrong campus at first, the campus we should go is the one in Guang Zhou town. Too bad we cant spend more time in there, the old campus entrance looks a lot like Taiwan University, very poetic and literacy.

Day 24 : A computer city in Guang Dong area. Shops in Guang Dong area are gather in “city”. computer city, shoe city, hardware city, bla bla bla.

Day 25: Weiqi Einstein

Day 26: secretly post another photo for the day, to make up for other days who do not have picture.

A guy with bold dress up. Permed hair, plastic-look-alike jacket, colourful pants, and handbag(on the other side, not the green one). Branded stuffs from head to toe.

Day 27: Sushi again!!! and of course not to forget salmon sashimi

sushi for two consecutive days. sinful ah sinful ah.

Day 28 : i develop the photo of me and my foong foong and her berto!! but the grass disappear..haha..no lar..grass were covered by the ad. oh, and i found the name tag we used last year during promotion period. memories. one day i should write about the society i joined XD

Sushi One for Three

Went for sushi with my foong foong n berto last night at Mongkok One Sushi!! because they offer half price sushi after 10pm with each person have to spend $60.
So many people were waiting outside for seats. We waited for around one hour, stand outside the shop until we were so boring until we went to buy paparazzi magazine. haha. the cover story is Kay Tse did plastic surgery. dunno what is so big deal about it. the magazine even report 张家辉 and 关咏荷 went to look for new house in Hong Kong Island area. walau, why are people looking for new home bothering Hong Kong people?? people buy new house cannot meh?

They cant get us a table so we have to sit by the conveyor belt. Before we went in, we already ticked the ordering form and only give the ordering form to the waiter.
Not too long later, we got our food. Here are some of sour food, sometimes too busy eating until forget to take out camera.

hoho..minimum spend of $60 will be very full for one person since sushi and rolls will be half price, you can eat double the portion than normal.

Day 26 : Domestic Violence wtf. the owner of the hand you know who you are. wahaha

have been busy with work (notice: not study, is other works) recently.

Day 11: McDonald for tea = lunch+dinner

today got no life until have to take photo of the Shake Shake Fries i ate. I think the flavouring powder i got is Honey BBQ. Because I’ve got the McD member’s card so i got an small fries for free with a value set; for breakfast, i got free hot chocolate for free this month. walala.

Day 12: splurge. Dim Sum at Ground Floor restaurant with Kyman.

during tea time lar. HKD9 for each plate. but something so un acceptable happen that time. see the siu mai in the photo? One siu mai is not cooked!! and i am so unlucky enough to eat the uncooked prawn. i swallow it!! i feel the texture is so weird when i bite it, i don’t know why i still swallow it. then only i notice the prawn inside is really different from the prawn in other siu mai. it’s not cooked!!OMG OMG so scary!! i ate the uncooked prawn. so scary until i 语无伦次。

We ask for the waiter, when she saw the uneaten half she already know the siu mai is uncooked, like she already have previous experiences. anyway, at least she admit and apologize, then she cancelled the dish(means me no need to pay for the dish).

Day 13: Found out something. check in and out at the same MTR station within one hour, they charge you 5 bucks.

and when you edit the photo at Picasa, the photo will update at Windows Live Writer too!!woot. no need upload again.

Day 8 : Distribution of Wings~~

Quite a lot people would like to keep a copy of the magazine because the cover story is about our university president who is going to leave the university this August. According to many people, he has been a very good president for the university in the past 8 years. He will be going back to his laboratory after the contract with HKUST end.
about the article i wrote. i read the article again. i think that i can write a better one. the article i wrote was not the best. they made mistake in arranging the paragraphs, i didn’t notice it too. Alex complained that the photo for Penang is not suitable, i agreed and i notice it before but they cant find a photo that has the high resolution they need.




but i really glad i did something to promote my country. i love my country. sometimes i will feel a bit angry if the Hong Kong people talk something not good about Malaysia. Like in the TVB drama, they give impression that Malaysia or other ASEAN countries very ulu. How can like that, although Malaysia not a developed country yet, but at least Malaysia nurture a lot of talented people. It will always be a place i call home no matter how it turn out in the future. It’s a place that provide education and resources to raise me.

Went to visit Cisco System last Friday. The company is so cool!!
After introduction to the business strategy, engineers ask us to break into two groups, at first we thought they are going to bring us to see two different demonstrations. But guess what we saw in the room?
This!!

We saw the other group on the TV screen with 1:1 ratio~~
Cisco have two room with similar design, like a curved table of same colour, same wall colour and three camera with three giant high definition flat screen TV in their office in Hong Kong. They allow their employers to use this product if they are working in Cisco office in other country. They can have their family come over to Hong Kong office and talk over this video conference.

Day 9 : TelePresence! i was captured in a 1:1 ratio from the screen of the other room!!
can i have this so that i can call people i want and see the 1:1 ratio of them?? puhlease~~~~

爆砖破灯之振翅问世全记录

唔兴奋都俾欧啟文搞到好兴奋. 编辑委员会出版的《振翅》杂志在千呼万盼下终于成功出版啦！！！
今日做好人，陪欧生去0左http://draft.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=6846226954901762318#editor/target=post;postID=6653640689594052258官塘拎新鲜滚热辣0既WINGS。哈。其实係自己想睇 ，因为今期有我写0既文章！！哇啦啦，叫我美女作家！

当初唔记得点解会应承欧啟文写篇关于马来西亚的文章。当初0既构想係想介绍马来西亚华人点样过新年，但係因为本人的关系，过0左大半個月仲写唔出一只字。马来西亚华人同香港人过年0既方式其实都唔係挣太远，讲D特色0既都系得个几个。
最后，决定要介绍0下马来西亚0既旅游特点！身为马来西亚人，当然要好好介绍大马好玩0既地方俾其他人。


所以就有0左大家可以见到WINGS里面8版GUM多0既《马来西亚，亚洲美丽所在》的介绍啦。主题介绍的有浮罗交易岛（欧啟文觉得個名好好听）、怡保（当然唔少的啦）、马六甲、槟城及金马伦高原。最后仲为D想去旅游0既朋友准备几条好用0既马来西亚旅游小锦囊。当然无可以忘记帮我排版0既欧啟文啦，闻说这8版係佢用尽一心心血0既旷世巨作！哈！


okay, i give up. it’s very hard for me to write in Cantonese( if you can see from the above passage), it’s just not the language that i use to write in. Just in case you don’t read Chinese, my article was published! in the Wings Magazine by the Editorial Board of HKUSTSU. It’s not because i am superb in writing, it’s just happened that i have good friends in the Editorial Board./evil laugh i wrote about tourism in Malaysia, i introduce Pulau Langkawi, Ipoh, Melaka, Penang and Cameron Highlands!! All places that i have been to (and place that i grow up!) and most of the things i wrote are based on experiences and of course i put effort to research on these places, i don’t wanna give wrong information.


I was exciting to be the few first one to read the mag. It may not be as professional as the magazine where you have to pay 20 bucks to get out there, but because i have known people who are making it, i see their hard work in wanting to make this a nice one. They spend sleepless night designing every page, proofread,finalize things again and again. I know they have been some problems in the team, but i saw unity and togetherness when you guys moved boxes and boxes of the mag into the EB room.

the whole row of tiles broke when they pushed the cart full of magazines over them. only this particular row of tiles broke, only that row, not the two rows next to it. hah. the books are just too heavy. shhh..don’t tell anyone who did this to the floor tiles there..shhhh..

Day 6 : Yu Xuan you look so funny in this photo

on the way back to hall, i saw a guy holding his girlfriend’s bag in one hand and hold his girlfriend’s hand in another and i come up with this question : why hong kong guys so willing to carry their girlfriend’s bag? even those with girly design. it looks weird to me to see a guy carrying a bling bling bag in one hand and holding his girlfriend’s hand in another walking on the street in Mongkok. should i call them gentleman?

Day 3: Firm visit to iDS logistic. iDS is a company under Li&Fung Group. Toys R Us (Asia) is a business under Li&Fung.

i have many toys during my childhood days. but i grow up playing the toys on my own, my “masak-masak” and my Barbie doll were my companions during my childhood days. when my family went back to my grandparents’, the thing that will double check and make 100% sure i put it into the car was Barbie doll. my cousin sister will play with me, we dressed up our dolls and make them date a bear (we don’t have a Kent, lol) or make them a star and dance with Aaron Kwok’s song.

 

Day 4 : Farewell for a friend who is going to Police School tomorrow(i.e. Monday)

He was a friend i got to know during my trip to Beijing. Always with a smile on his face. We joked a lot during the gathering, about his soon-to-come life in Police School. A friend asked about his schedule in the school, then we start joking about is he given a camp book like those we get during camps. we joked about how he’ll have camp fire at night and sing songs in the camp book with someone playing the guitar. we joked about how he’ll turn into secret agent for the police force.

i heard about this project from this blogger, jmeei quite some time ago.

this is a project where you need to take a photo per day, then put up either in your blog or photo album. A photo will tell a story in the day.

it sounds so interesting to me. a photo a day to record my day XD

so here’s my first day.

Day1: Plasma TV at the lift.

no idea why there’s plasma tv at the lift area. who will want to watch TV which is not showing interesting program?
