I am not going to say too much about her since there are already a lot of stories about her out there.
Just wanna to say, the messages she wanted to bring out will be remembered.i like how she bring out the message of family and races, not trying to give out the message too directly, message were brought out through examples that happened in real life, but the impact that came along is huge.
Just like the video in Shiaun's blog. It's like a slap to the face, one day when you grow up and you get a very well paid job, very busy, working over time, overseas, where will your parents be?
Too great a talent to lose. RIP Yasmin Ahmad. Your messages will be remembered.

ReplyDeleteI put that on Facebook too. That video seriously makes me smile every time I watch it. 1, because the grandma in the story looks similar to mine. 2, the way they tell you in the end no matter how much you earn, you should still show some concern and take care of your parents.
ReplyDeleteA simple message that most of us can understand but cannot do. Which is a shame. This is the magic of Yasmin Ahmad, may she rest in peace.
